POSITION LOCATION: Support Center in Woburn, MA or Nashville, TN
POSITION SUMMARY
This role will be responsible for efficiently managing the transportation and distribution of goods and supplies across multiple distribution centers through to multiple restaurant locations. This position requires a proactive leader with strong organizational skills and a keen understanding of multi-unit distribution, ensuring uninterrupted product supply to our restaurants.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES – Including, but not limited to:
· Oversee the Arrowstream system to monitor and manage inventory levels, safety stock levels, obsolescence, and price discrepancies at each Distribution Center to mitigate potential exposure.
· Assess distribution of goods, including food supplies and other necessary items, from distribution centers to all restaurant locations, guaranteeing accurate and timely deliveries to the restaurants.
· Analyze distribution performance metrics and logistics data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency while maintaining quality standards.
· Support the procurement and operations teams to plan for seasonal demands on product launches, LTOs for in restaurants, pricing communications, and forecasting on all supplies.
· Implement and maintain effective tracking systems to successfully monitor the introduction, run out, and transition of products.
· Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
· Collaborate with external teams of distribution staff, providing leadership, and guidance.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Logistics; or equivalent work experience.
SKILLS & SPECIFICATIONS
· 5 year minimum experience in supply chain management for the food and beverage industry within multi-unit operations.
· Strong understanding of inventory control, supply chain best practices, and transportation management.
· Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively operate within a diverse team and build strong relationships with internal and external partners.
· Highly organized with the ability to proactively prioritize needs, put first things first, and effectively manage resources.
· Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset to optimize distribution processes and reduce costs.
· Works independently with minimal supervision. Drives projects and maintains a high sense of urgency on identified projects, goals and any potential risk to supply.
· Proficiency in using ArrowStream and MS Office.
· Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
